The most awaited Bollywood celebrity wedding of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan will take place on October 16, 2012. The confirmation has come after Sharmila Tagore, mother of Saif, started sending invitations.

The wedding ceremonies will take place in Delhi and Mumbai attended by close family members only. A reception would be held in Mumbai. The town of Pataudi as the venue of marriage has been rejected for security reasons.

Kareena will be wearing Sharmila’s bridal Sharara on her wedding day and is expected to wear Manish Malhotra’s creations for other ceremonies.

The buzz in Bollywood is that Kareena Kapoor may stop acting after her marriage as she did not sign any new film so far after opting out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela. Her films Heroine and Talaash will release on September 21 and November 30 respectively.
