While the while the tabloids were haywire recently with the rumors of Kareena Kapoor as lead in Emraan Hashmi‘s next. But GossipGurus  has learnt that Kareena Kappor has finally said no to the film.

We learnt that Emraan Hashmi was very insistent of casting Kareena. So he went to all lengths to persuade her but all in vane in the end. Kareena herself was interested in working with Emraan but she could not fit the film in her schedule.

Emraan Hashmi did not leave any leaf unturned to persuade Bebo for Akash Roy’s Directorial Project. He even hosted a private screening of Shanghai for her. Kareena liked the movie and was reported to be looking forward to be working with Emraan, but eventually she could not find the dates to meet the film’s schedule.

Deepika Paduakone is now expected to play the lead.
